Yellow Wheel’s 2022 Major Season.

“A loophole is an ambiguity or inadequacy in a system, which can be used to circumvent, manipulate or otherwise avoid the purpose, implied or explicitly stated, of the system.

This year, the Yellow Wheel company have undertaken just as much discussion as they have dance, trying to unpack and think about the way humans behave, interact with each other and operate in general on both minor and major scales. Breaking down the rules of society, social norms and questioning their own and others subjective viewpoints and experiences, they have become a small but close knit cohort, holding an incredible amount of space for each other as a group, whilst still standing strong as their individual selves. Through conditioning and through circumstance, humans are often placed at odds with each other, pitted against each other through competition, resources, opportunities. To hold space, kindness, support and simply exist together can feel like a radical act.

LOOPHOLE is a meditation, and an evolution of this intimacy, space and commitment to simply being together.”
